Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences for your loss. I adored your father and was so blessed to know him. Will and Sasquatch he always praised you both. He could never have been more proud of you. He will be missed.

God comforts those who mourn. May the family have peace. John5: 25-28

My sincere condolences to Vernon's family.
Such a kind thoughtful man. I will miss his words of advice and encouragement.

As one of the pioneers of Senior Games basketball in Charlotte, Vernon was a real tribute to the sport and to his teammates. Vernon will be greatly missed for his warm and friendly smile. He leaves a wonderful legacy and lots of good friends...his life was a life well-lived!

My cos to the family. Cherish your memories and find comfort in Gods word. He is near to those whose hearts are broken and crushed. Psalms 51:17

Hattie Belle, I am so sorry for the loss of your son.

Vernon will be missed by his classmates, and I will think of him often when we meet together. He was always excited to be with us, and he was an encourager for me. It was a special time today at his service. Nice to meet the family. May the Lord
send all of you His Comfort.

I had the honor of caring for Mr. Goodwin at LCI - no matter how bad he may have been feeling he loved talking about his days at State. He always had encouraging words for my son who was just starting his freshman year at State in mechanical engineering. He will be missed. Thinking of your family during this difficult time.
"Go Pack!"

Vernon was a special person to all he came in contact with. He will certainly be missed. Joseph and Will, he was so happy to have you both in his life. You are very special, as is your Grandmother Hattie.
