Hi Vern, It saddens me to know that you have passed, but I know that you are in a better place resting with the angels. I wish we could have spent more time together while I was studying in Cleveland and I will always cherish our amazing conversations at the Rec Desk at JCU. Sending my condolences to your family. My condolences to the family of Mr. Hall, who I will always remember at UH hospitals and how he helped a young generation of men play basketball "together" regardless of skill levels. Thank you Mr Hall for that leadership. You'll be missed greatly.

Vern was the face of John Carroll Recreation .... he was warm and welcoming and a wonderful, kind man. I loved working with him. May he rest in peace ... blessings to all of his family.
