Not sure what to say?

Our deepest sympathy to all. Memories last forever.

I am so sorry to hear of Vern's passing. My thoughts go out to all of you at this very difficult time. I am hoping he's in Heaven with my mom, telling her a joke and giving her a hug. Love to you all. Melinda

It was a joy and honor to know him. There are so many great memories I have from Vernon Jewelers. My favorites are of his great big smile as he enthusiastically talked about any of his children. He was so proud of all of them. What a great patriarch.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Vern's family. God Bless you all.

Mom and I are reading all of your wonderful comments. Dad was a wonderful loving man. We appreciate so much all of your kind words.

Vern (Mr. Haugen to me!) was my first real boss when I worked at Zales at age 15. He was kind but tough! He worked very hard, set the bar high for his employees, and was always fair. I remember that he was very proud of his children and would smile as he spoke fondly of them. RIP Mr. Haugen, enjoy the time off!

My thoughts and prayers of Gods comfort are with your whole family. Teri Fossholm

My love and thoughts are with the whole family.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Love,
The Lewis Family

I miss you already Grandpa and will never forget you. You were such a hard working man which is a great role model for all of us. You were funny, witty and such a flirt! You were the best grandpa and great grandpa to my little ones. Braydon still has the Micky Mouse watch you gave him. This Thanksgiving, we are all grateful for you and what you gave to us, which was the meaning of family. Love you forever! XOXO
