We will miss Vern, but we are confident of his place in Heaven. I will miss your hugs and you cheery disposition. Our prayers are with Mia and Vernon and family in their time of grief and know that the L_rd will comfort all of you.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Others stay awhile, make footprints on our hearts and we are never the same. This is very true of Vern! I consider it an honor that I came to know him ten years ago, I will miss his compassion, his wonderful sense of humor, and many other things about him! Also I know that his faith in the L-rd was such an encouragement to me. Mia, you are in my prayers, and know that you are much loved as well!
