Not sure what to say?

Will miss Vern, a very smart and open minded Physics scholar. Had several very pleasant lunches with him and you in Merrillville. Will be thinking of you and him as the entire office has been since Monday (when I realized he wasn't going to be here for tube testing)

Linda so sorry to hear of Vern's passing.

So sorry to hear about Vernon's passing. I fine man, a great friend, he will be missed by many as he made a difference.

Dear Linda - we learned of Vern's leaving for Heaven on Thursday of this week. I can almost see him exclaiming over everything he sees and encounters. How exciting for him but we know how much he will be missed by all who had the privilege of being included in his life. Our prayers are with you.

Vern helped our girl scout leader, Judy, and we had a blast in junior high in 1971-74! Thanks for letting us go night riding on the horses, too! Such fond memories of your great family. You will be missed! Heaven is happy to have you! Love, Theresa

Verne will truly be missed. He always put others first and loved to make people smile . His smile was so infectious. Glad I got to know him and he will always have a special place in my heart.

Vern, you are singing with the angels in Heaven now. We will all miss you, especially your loving grandchildren in Louisiana, Alex, Kate and Jack.

Vernie, your light still shines bright!
