Big Bumpa was a teddy bear to all of his grandchildren. He spoke loud but underneath it all he was very soft and kind. He taught us all so many different things. Some cards, some painting and some hard work. He loved us all and did so much for us in his own way. He leaves behind many people who love and miss him very much. I am thankful for having the days that I did with him and I know he is now watching out for us with Grandma Hallstrom at his side. We love you Grandpa and we know you are now at peace and have no more suffering.

Hi,
I would like to send my condolance to the family of Vern Marshall. My parents owned "Anderson's Confectionary" on Kishwaukee Street and Vern used to hang out there with others in the neighborhood. I was younger, but I had a brother that was more Vern's age. I remember Aggie and she palled with Jackie Byer. It is a small world. I saw the obit in our local newspaper, Argus, Wautoma. We like in Saxeville, but our address is Wild Rose. We have been here for almost 20 years.
God Bless You All,
Diane (Anderson) Meyer

Marshall Family,
We are so very sorry to hear of Vernon's passing. We are glad that he was able to retire and enjoy Pleasant Lake. There are so many happy memories of all of us enjoying the lake as kids. You are in our thoughts and prayers. The Truitt Family
