Not sure what to say?

Vernon will truely be missed. We at the Kansas Museum of Military History (in Augusta) had the honor of having Vernon come and participate in our parade and open house two years ago. Our theme was honoring Kansas Ex-POW's. Vernon was kind enough to share his story of his military experiences as a POW with the public and especially the younger generation. Vernon sacrificed so much for the protection of our country, and we consider ourselves lucky to have known Vernon. God bless you Vernon...

My sympathies go out to all the family...Vern was a special man, boss at Boeing and friend. Hold on to all of your cherished memories...I was fortunate in knowing Vern. God Bless,

Sorry to hear of your loss. Grief can be hard, but our memories help us cope. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

To Katherine, and the Mauk family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. May you memories help you get through this time of sorrow. With love, Margie Valentine
