Not sure what to say?

I haven't seen grandpa for a while but I remember him being nice, caring, and a friendly person, I loved him! He used to come over our house to visit, and I liked how he treated me. Since we moved he's sent me birthday and xmass cards,and that made me happy to know he was still thinking of me. In my graduation card he said he hoped to see me this summer and see their house. But, his passing was a surprise... Ill always love and remember u!!

Vern was a great grandfather, he always cared about his family and steered us-me in the right direction. I wish we could have spent more time together the last few years, he will be missed.

You will be missed by many. I will miss the cheerful hello's on the way in to work. Love you always.

To Vern's family: I had the pleasure of working with Vern at National City. As I walked in every day, he always greeted me with a friendly smile. He often shared stories with me about his family and he always told me how his wife spoiled him.
We will miss him at NCC. I send my prayers to your family at this most difficult time.

I loved you very, very much Grandpa. You were always the best grandfather and great-grandfather. We miss you.

Veola, Kim and Andrea;
I am so very sorry about Uncle Vernon's illness and passing. He is very much in my heart, even though much time has passed since we were in each others company. My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to you and the rest of our family. My love, Sissie.

Vern was more than a father-in-law, I'm proud to say that he was also my friend. I will miss him very very much! You are forever in my heart.

It was wonderful to have Vern in our lives for the past five years. He was a great addition to our family. My kids loved him very much and thought of him as another Grandpa.
