I have fond memories of Vern. We worked together when he was the OCA Alumni President and I worked in the fundraising department. He always made me laugh. He will be missed! Karen Henry, OCAD University

As a student in the Prep in the late 50s Vernon Mould saw something in the way I saw trees and other subjects. He was able to afford me, through encouragement and support, a life-long appreciation for the arts and a sustained way of seeing. I greatly appreciated his contribution to my being, Dr. John Fitzgerald, Ottawa

Like so many others at UCC I was fortunate to have Vernon Mould as my art teacher throughout my 10 years from the prep school to the upper school. I still have a few of the paintings he helped me with. Always encouraging, he leaves a lasting impression on my memory. Expressing my sincere condolences to his family.

Vernon was my first art teacher starting in the prep school of UCC and then in the upper school during the 1960's. Thank you Vernon for your interest, guidance and support early in my life. I was honoured to have him visit me at my studio about 20 years ago when he again was generous in his encouragement.

What a fine and thoughtful man. As my teacher I found him inspiring, kind, skilled and subtle. He will live on in my memories for a very long time.
