Dear Carol, Stewart and Robert,

Although you do not know me personally, I often heard about you from Rob.

Rob and I worked on the Token Ring together and shared many good and bad times for the Token Ring - but as I worked witth Rob, I found that he had wonderful sense of humor and was always ready to listen to an idea no matter how busy he was.

Rob's impact at IBM will be felt for a long time. Rob was always one of "the good guys."

I am thinking of you today and know your hearts are broken. What can you say when someone dies so young except I know he was so proud of his family and loved you dearly. Stewart you are a fine young man and I am confident you will cherish the time you had with your dad. I also know you will be a supportive son for your mother.
