Vernon L. Pack

I have many memories of Mr.Pack. He did his student teaching at New Albany High School when my dad was a student. He became a close friend with my grandmother and spent many days playing Scrabble with her. He loved taking friends on trips around Ohio where he would take pictures. Those pictures became the basis of many talks. He spoke several times to the New Albany Plain Township Historical Society arranged by my mother. He recently pulled me aside at his retirement residence to talk a bit about our fraternity and Otterbein friends. His mind was clear and sharp and we had a very nice visit. Vernon was very generous to Otterbein University.
