My condolences to Vern's Family. I'm a trumpet player & know your Dad as a sweet, supportive, man who loved to play & sing & tell a joke or two. Lonely is walking into a jam session for the first time where there's 27 guitars and you're carrying a trumpet. Support & Acceptance is hearing your Dad at that jam session playing/singing "I Wouldn't Change You If I Could" and calling out "Take it, Dave!" at the break. We will miss him immensly. Sincerely,
Dave & Judy Lucking

Dear Schumm Family,
I remember your dad always doing something around the house, or building something, especially in my family's old home movies when brother Doug and Connie's house out on CR-19 was being built back in the 70's. 'VERN"
We will miss our good friend .. we have many many fond memories of our times spent together at auctions and music events.
He was always helpfull with many projects .. his handywork is evidentall over our place..
I wonder what song he and "TR" are trying to get the angels to sing and who is blaming who for being out of tune!

To the Schumm family my deepest sympathy's. We all know Vern is in a better place.
I met him through a dear friend of his, Edith and also knew him for all the jam sessions he played and sang at. He will be sadly missed.
