Read MoreVerne and Arnetta were great friends to my parents, Don and Hazel Fraser and their history goes back many years. We remember seeing Verne's old car in the parades in Waterford when we took our kids. We are very sorry to hear he passed and our thoughts and prayers are with Janis and family. Vern was a good neighbor of ours for 47 years. In recent years he shared a meal or two with us and his stories and photos about his service during WWII were very interesting and we will miss his presence in the neighborhood.
