Vernon Townsend Sr

Vernon was a special gift from the LORD. I only knew Vernon through his work at Pine Hill Golf Course. I treasure the special conversations we shared in the clubhouse. He supported Calvary Rescue Mission and He loved JESUS and he was very proud of his family. I will miss my friend...........but I know I will see him again.........

Uncle Vernon was a cut up, loved my Aunt Di and his boys, and a grill master! I finally know that mom is older than you... Thank you for all the memories...may God's comfort and peace be in your hearts.

My prayers and sympathy to Dian and the family. When we were teenagers, I watched Dian and Vernon courting 'back in the day.' Your union was based in God and blessed. May Vernon rest in the arms of Jesus. Deborah Harmon Hines
