Vernon Lee "Vern" Wilkinson Jr.

I was fortunate to work with Vern for close to twenty years. Not only was he a co-worker but a great friend. There wasn't anyone he didn't know. He will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family.

Sue and family, I was surprised and saddened today to hear of the loss of your brother. I always admired his gentle spirit. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and all your family through this difficult time. We think of you often.

I feel fortunate to have been able to grow up with Vern and lucky to have had him as a neighbor. Many fond memories of Tekoa Terrace, playing countless games across the many backyards in the neighborhood. Always a smile on Vern's face and someone who was never short on kind words. A real gentleman. He will be missed.

I have fond childhood memories of Vern from the Tekoa Terrace neighborhood. Even though he was older than I, he was always kind and always had the time to play catch, shoot hoops, or tell a story. Rest in peace, Vern.
