I just learned of Vera's passing while attending a mass for All Soul's Day at St. Anselm's. Although I never me her, I had the utmost respect for her as well as her late husband. She was a pillar for our parish community. The last time I saw her was just a few weeks ago when she read at mass. I attended a mass for my aunt who passed this summer and I was so shocked to hear of Vera's passing. I will remember her in my prayers and masses. God Bless. Mike Diesso

I always looked forward to Vera's reading of the Scriptures at Mass. Her voice and expression made listening easy and meaning clearer. Her friendly and graceful presence will be missed. Anne Hatami, a fellow parishioner at St. Anselm.
