Not sure what to say?

Dear Paula and Joey and family, I was so shocked to hear of my dear friend's homegoing...almost a year later. However, I had to share that Veronica's heart and laughter was pure GOLD. As a new teacher to her school (P.S.#27) SHE took me "under her wing" and made me so comfortable in the building. My gr. 3 neighbor, Carmella Schroder became my ally and a mentorship began. Such fond memories will forever live in my heart regarding my many years at HILLERY PARK ACADEMY THANK YOU...

Paula I am so very sorry to hear of your mother passing but I know she is resting peacefully in a beautiful place.

We heard from a child in the neighborhood that Mrs. Koziol passed away. We met her when our daughters attended Hillary Park Academy. Subsequently, we discovered we lived close to each other and always enjoyed a chat as we walked by her house. Our daughters always enjoyed seeing Mrs. Koziol. Although our kids were not at Hillary long we were happy to be friendly neighbors. God bless, and we will certainly miss her.

Paula Joe Trai and families of Veronica Roni Koziol- Knowing your mom through the years at ST Teresa;s as mom to Paula and to Joe from St Teresa years, then as a colleague at Hillery Park and then again through teaching her grandson Trai in Confirmation at St Martin's I was blessed to know such a wonderful woman. May she rest in peace and may her family continue her legacy of love, kindness and giving. My deepest sympathy to all. Ms. Myers/aka Maureen Myers

Over many years Veronica had served the role of confidant, friend, advocate and second mother to staff, families and children at Hillery Park I don't see her as being gone but more so just changing locations- but now she has her wings.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Sorry for your loss. Veronica was a very loving, kind, compassionate and dedicated person. She will be missed at Hillery Park. I will miss hearing her voice greet me every morning at work. I will miss our conversations when I drove her home. Prayers for your family during this grievous time.

My dear sweet cousin Veronica. This is how I will always remember you. Always helping others. Always leading with your heart and your incredible sense of humor. Growing up I spent a copious amount of time at my Aunt Ellie´s house and Veronica was like a sister to me. I am truly saddened to know she will no longer be in this world which was left a better place because of her existence. Sleep well gentle spirit...I know Red was there to take your hand and carry you over to the other...

Joe and family - so very sorry for your loss. Many prayers for your Mom, you, and your family.
