Veronica "Claudette" Pollard was born on November 27, 1955 and passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017. Age 62. Daughter of the late Estelle Brown Pollard and Amos Dorsey. Mother of Tylenskia and Jamiron Pollard. Sister of Terrace, James, Robert, Samuel, John Pollard, Belinda (Nathaniel) Coleman, Josephine (Albert) Faulk, Barbara (James) Brumfield, Lorenza, Amos, James, Willie Dorsey and the late Dorothy Mae Stampley, John Brown, Anthony Pollard, Eli Dorsey and Betty Wilson. Aunts, Sallie Davis and Annie Lee Otis. God Child, Toni Westley. Devoted Friend, Theresa Jackson. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, Bruce, Alexis, Tatyana Pollard, Jamyra' Powell and Rashad Johnson, Jr., 2 great-grandchildren Bruce Pollard, Jr. and Bria Pollard and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by 1 great-grandson, Waynell Willis, Jr. Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, Officers, Members, Faculty and Staff of Israelite B.C., all neighboring churches, James Derham, Booker T. Washington H.S., City of New Orleans, Classy Ladies and other Social Aid and Pleasure Clubs are invited to attend the Visitation on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Israelite Baptist Church, 2100 Martin Luther King Blvd from 8:00 am until 10:00 am.
