Dr. Lacy will continue to be an inspiration to me. She was my Biology teacher at Science & Engineering Magnet, when it was located at the Nolan Estes Building (1990-1994). I am now a Chemistry teacher in DISD, partly because of her. God truly blessed your family with a jewel, and thank you for sharing her with so many young people over the years. I will never forget how well she spoke "The King's English". Be comforted in knowing her soul is at rest.

will always be remembered for being "Brilliant" in the classroom. I chose to major in science because of her. I met Dr. Lacy while attending a science summer program at Texas College as a high school student. I am a retired DISD science teacher. She will always have a special place in my heart.
