All the musicians in Heaven are tuning their instruments for Vesta's arrival. What a life, what a woman. It was my great good fortune to meet Vesta in 1979 when I started my Guild work for OCPAC. She was a most remarkable woman...always involved, always giving, and always interested in every individual. Her trademark was her hats, but her legacy was her heart. She will be missed by us all.

OH, Vesta! You will be so missed by so many people. I will always remember your kindness and your wonderful stories. We had many laughs together, and always had great visits. God Speed, my friend. It's nice to know we have another angel in Heaven praying for us here on earth. My heart goes out to all the Curry family. Keep your wonderful memories of her in your heart and she will always be with you.

I had the pleasure of meeting Vesta through the Pacific Symphony League's "Music on the Move" program. She came to hear me sing and my friend, Eveline, play piano for Alzheimer's patients at the John Douglas French Center in Los Alamitos. She was such a delight that Eveline and I loved being around her and had the pleasure of spending lunch with her to celebrate her birthday a few years ago. What I will always remember is her passion in telling us about Kimi, her foster child, and how...

Vesta aboard Nordic Star with Elizabeth Vincent & Family
When we would spot Vesta and her hat coming down the dock you could not help but smile knowing Vesta was coming on the Voyage. What ever we did for her or where ever we took her she always reacted as if it was the best thing or place she had ever been. She treated us with respect and kindness, and made all of us fell like her friend. Vesta, you will always have a special place in our hearts and will deeply be missed.

Vesta would be 90 going on 39. She was one of the most positive, optimistic, bubbly, personalities I have ever met. I loved her hats and personality. Vesta was friends to everyone, I mean everyone. She didn't care if you were CEO to a Fortune 500 or swept the floor, Vesta respected everyone. She will definitely be missed by Char and I. She was part of our family.

My deepest condolences to the Curry family at this most difficult time. I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Vesta when she would come to her doctor's visits. We always welcomed her visits with us and could not wait to see her in one of her most beautiful hats. There was always an amazing story behind her hats. What a wonderful lady she was. She was as colorful and beautiful as her hats! May you rest in peace Vesta. You certainly made a difference in this world!
