Vickey Bea Aggers was born September 13, 1955, in McComb, Mississippi, and was called home to Glory on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the age of 68.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Sterling of Liberty, Mississippi, and Margaret Anice Greenlee Sterling of McComb, Mississippi; and two siblings, Robert Sterling, and Susie Garcia. 


Vickey met and married the love of her life, Bernard Lee Aggers in 1975. At the time of Bernard’s passing, they had celebrated 47 wonderful years together.


Survived to carry on her loving memory is her daughter, Frances Anice Hughes of Slidell, Louisiana; her grandson, Seth Alexander Hughes (Amber) of Elizabethton, Tennessee; three great grandchildren, Briella Kohles, Clary Kohles, and Delilah Madison-Anice Hughes, all of Elizabethton, Tennessee; and two siblings, Jerry Sterling (Mary) of Metairie, Louisiana, and Martha Peralta (Ed) of Avondale, Louisiana. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. 


For many years, Vickey was a caregiver. She dedicated her life to caring for and loving her husband, daughter, and grandchild. She was a mother to those who needed the warmth and wisdom of someone who cared. Vickey was loved by many because of her kind and gentle spirit. 


Vickey came to know the Lord as her Savior at a young age. For the last several years she was an active member of The Crossing in Pearl River, Louisiana. She lived her life serving God and giving to others.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at, The Crossing, 63140 North Military Rd (Hwy 1090), Pearl River, Louisiana, on Saturday, August 24, 2024. The service will begin at 11:00am, and will be officiated by Bro. Sam Husser, with musical ministry provided by his wife, Mrs. Sue Husser.


In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to assist with funeral costs.
