McIntyre, Vicki M. Died August 18, 2013, of colon cancer at age 66. She will be dearly missed by her children Erin and Sean, her granddaughter Lindsey and many other family and friends. Vicki tackled life with determination and grace. After many years in theater, Vicki worked in the commercial banking area of Norwest/Wells Fargo, where she became active in Financial Women International. She then attended William Mitchell College of Law, where she was on the Law Review. At age 63, she began a career in estate law, with special interest in helping people to plan for the care of their pets. She had started writing a mystery novel. She pursued her many interests with joy and vigor, and the world will be a poorer place without her energy and passion. The family would like to thank the staff of the Frauenshuh Cancer Center, especially Dr. Cathleen Chen, for their kind and zealous care for the past one and one-half years, and Park Nicollet Home Care Hospice, especially Lisa Eckberg, for their wonderful help in Vicki's final month. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 7, 2013, at the Edina Chapel of the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina, MN, 952-924-4100. Visitation will start at 1 pm, with a Celebration at 2 pm and refreshments to follow. Memorials are preferred to the family or to the Frauenshuh Cancer Center.

Not sure what to say?

I knew Vicki through FWI and we kept in touch over the years. What a gracious, cheerful person, with a smile that can't be beat. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Vicki was a key person in the evolution of Financial Women International. She was an energetic and powerful leader and we all learned from her.

Vicki was always willing to get involved and was so much fun to work with. She lived her life fully with great joy. She will be greatly missed. My sympathies to her family.

Vicki always seemed to be having more fun than anyone else in the room! I worked with her at Wells/Norwest and always appreciated her enthusiasm. Her energy will be missed by all who knew her.

My prayers and sympathy to her family.

I remember Vicki, and her wonderful smile, from Norwest/Wells Fargo days. So sorry to hear of her illness and passing! My deepest sympathy to her family & friends.

Vicki's dedication to the field of Elder Law will be missed. I pray for her family to be able to grieve her loss, celebrate her life, and find comfort along the way.
