VICKI PETERSON

Vicki was our Social Worker who arranged for the adoption of our children Brendan and Meeya and supported us at every step of this challenging process. Vicki invited me (David) to join the Board of Wide Horizons where I served as Treasurer for eight years and chair of the Board for two years and traveled with Vicki to meet with of adoption officials in Korea. Vicki was a most impressive leader of a most impressive agency. She was strong, intelligent, empathetic, and kind and never failed to make the children her top priority in all phases of the adoption process. Our family was made possible because of her efforts, and she will be fondly remembered by us forever.

A huge loss for those of us who knew and cared about her. Vicki had an incredible sense of humor, dedicated heart and tenacious spirit. Having worked with her at the adoption agency, I was fortunate to be given excellent guidance by her. May her memory be a blessing.

Having worked with Vicki on the Wide Horizons board for many years I know she will be sorely missed.
