To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We never understand nor get over losing a loved one, but we do know that God has a plan for all of our lives. In difficult times like these we must lean not to our own understandings, but put our trust in God. God is the author of our lives. Today we say goodbye to our dear friend but only for a little while. we will meet again in God's time. May the peace of God comfort Vicki's family.
