PUCKETT, Vickie Lynn - Was born May 13, 1953 and died October 17, 2010 at Ann Arbor University Hospital. Vickie leaves to cherish her memory, husband Gary Puckett, son Jason Puckett, mother Margaret (Smith) Miller, father Norman G. Miller, Uncle Eugene (Donna) Miller, aunts, Charlotte Benjamin, Alice Miller, Ernestine Smith and Elizabeth Miller; sister-in-law, Janice Miller; great aunt, Donna (Burks) Miller; niece, Michelle (Antoine) Essix; great nephew, Caleb Essix; nephew, Brian D. Miller; mother-in-law, Rosie Puckett, sisters-in-law, Theresa, Connie (Dallas) Parks, Annette (Vince) Wood, Sandy (Courtney) Ryne, Starlett Voller, Priscilla (Robbie) Goff. Vickie graduated from Southwestern High School in 1972. Vickie was a dancer in the class play "Guys and Dolls". Vickie loved to dance. She also sang and studied music at Mott College. She later completed a cosmetology course in Ann Arbor. She then met the love of her life at AC, where she worked and married Gary Puckett. They were married for 29 years. Gary and Vickie have one son, Jason R. Puckett, who became the second love of her life. Sleep well Vickie. At the beginning He whispers in your ear "I will return for you my child". Only I, your Heavenly Father knows when. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 22, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Burial in Dawn Memorial Gardens in Lapeer. Visitation 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday until the time of service at the funeral home. Your condolences may be shared with the family at swartzfuneralhomeinc.com
