Vickie Lee Gorney Salas

Murfreesboro, TN - Vickie Lee Gorney Salas, age 66 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Wednesday January 16, 2019. A native of Garden City, MI, she was the daughter of the late George Sylvester and Dorothy Jean Revell Gorney. Vickie was also preceded in death by her sister, Sherry Lynn Gorney Hale.

Vickie is survived by her sons, Jeremy Galbraith and his wife Priscilla of Nashville, TN, and Brandon Bruff of Murfreesboro, TN; step sons, Ron, Len, and Chase Salas and their families; sister, Patti Gorney Kay of Plymouth, MI; grandson, Connor Galbraith of Nashville, TN; nephew, Dakota Kay of Plymouth, MI; niece, Stacie Hale Elliott of Clinton, TN; and longtime loving companion, Bill Anderson of Nashville, TN, and his family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro, TN. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Dr. Jim Clardy officiating.

Vickie was employed by Levy's Clothier for Men and Women for over 20 years. Vickie was the kindest, gentlest, classiest, beautiful, most compassionate, giving and loving person known. She will be greatly missed.

Memorials in memory of Vickie may be made to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center, or the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt for Pediatric Cancer.

I met Vickie during her work and service with Levy's in Green Hills, and was always delighted when she was the person that assisted me. Nothing but good things to say about her and the levy's extended family. She cannot be replaced.
My sympathies to the family.
