Not sure what to say?

It's been almost two years since the Lord called my sweet brother home and I still miss him every day. Still miss his daily phone calls. He was my sweet brother but he was also my very best friend. Love and miss him so much.

As Cutoms Special Agents, I arrived in Miami 2 weeks after Vic. WE all had agreed to relocate anywhere at anytime. To his credit , Vic deferred those relocations in consideration of what was best for his family. He was a family man. Mike Sullivan

I first met Vic in the late 70's while on assignment together. Over the years we developed a working kinship. Vic was a kind and generous man who was good-natured and a pleasure to be around. He was full of life and up-beat in spirit. He could always be counted on to greet you with a warm greeting and make you feel at home in his presence. I knew him as a man of unquestionable integrity and character whose genuine friendship and company will sorely be missed. He was a man whose word to you...

Vic worked with me at US Customs Service in the Office of Internal Affairs, for the Southeast Region based in Miami, Florida. He was one of my very best friends and one of the best men I have ever known. He was instrumental in the success of several high profile criminal investigations and his judgement as a law enforcement supervisor was unmatched. As others have eloquently said, I also miss him dearly and wish him well in the afterlife.

i miss you pop:((

I miss my sweet brother daily. I miss daily phone calls. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him. Vick was one of the sweetest, loving, and kindest man ever. I am so thankful that we were so close. So many precious memories. He always ended our phone calls saying "I love you, Punk!" That was our way of ending conversation1 Never "bye". I love him so much. Punk

I had the privilege of working with Vic at U.S. Customs. He was a dedicated Agent and a fine person. His family came first and he spoke of them often. His contributions to Law Enforcement and the Customs Service were considerable. He was one a few to receive the Albert Gallatin Award given by the U.S. Department of the Treasury upon his retirement for 25 years of Exceptional Service. Vic was just a nice guy that you were very happy to meet and lucky to work with. May he Rest in Peace in one...

I used to work with Vic and always found him to be soft spoken man, dedicated to his job as a U.S. Customs agent and Supervisor, and was always available. Rest in peace, Vic. It is well earned.

To the Vick Clanton family, please accept my condolences and prayers on the passing of Vick, he was truly a dedicated Agent within the U.S. Customs family and a friend to this Vietnam era veteran. May Vick’s soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed rest in eternal peace.
