I am so sorry to learn of the passing of my friend and colleague, Dr. Victor Agruso. During his tenure at Drury, he was an exceptional teacher, researcher, and faculty leader. Most of all, I remember our many conversations. He was kind, thoughtful, and always interested in enjoying a good debate. May God's blessings of comfort be with his family at this difficult time. I am most grateful for the gift of having gotten to work with him for so many years.

Dr. Agruso was one of the best professors Drury ever had. I had several classes with him & he was so intelligent and articulate and I learned so much from him. I attended high school with several of his children, all of which are a testament to his intelligence and high standards. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Agruso family. R.I.P. Dr. Agruso.

Mr Agruso's daughter Natalie was one of my best friends on Hillcrest Street 40 years ago. He was a kind man and fine neighbor who I remember driving me to Summerscape classes and waving when I'd bike past his porch
