Not sure what to say?

I met Vic at Varsity House, Christian co-op, OSU. He was a very pleasant person and fit in well with the house membership. I knew Carolyn as well and they were an outstanding couple. The last time I saw them was over 50 years ago in the end zone after an OSU game. Wayne Johnson '69

I hadn´t seen Victor since high school (`62), but we grew up together in Lacomb. My condolences to his family. He was a great kid and, I´m sure, a very fine man.

Vic loved the Masters golf tournment at Elkhorn, when on the 4th tee his eyes would light up and position himself, Im going for the green. which ment he's cutting 90 deg corner over 70ft tall fir trees most times he made it. his team won many times; then happy hour appetizers, steak dinner; but Vic's favorite was the coconut cream pie, followed buy a good game of hearts. We will miss you my friend your in our hearts for our life time.

Carolyn and family...precious memories come to mind of all the encouragement and friendship that you and Vic gave to us in Newport. Praise the Lord knowing one day there will be an eternal reunion.

I never knew Vic without a smile or a great laugh! He was the most compassionate & understanding man. God used him in His faithful service as Gods hands and feet in community!! I picture him now in a new community worshipping the God he served for so many years! You will be missed but a great reunion is coming and we will see you again! Blessings & love to the family! I worked with Vic as he started as a trainee in Lebanon. He was one of my first trainee's. I am sorry for your loss.

This a photo of the combined 1st & 2nd grade class of Lacomb Grade School circa 1953. Victor is located behind his teacher, Mrs. Berry´s, right shoulder in the striped T-shirt. Photo submitted by friend Mark Eklund.

Dear Carolyn and family, we are so sorry to learn of Vic´s passing. Our years serving the Lord with you both at Creekside are precious memories for us. We pray His comforting Presence and Strength in these coming days. Psalms 116:15-such a reassuring promise. Sharon and Bobby
