Not sure what to say?

Uncle Vick will always be a hero of mine because of the examples he set for all of us in overcoming obstacles, his constant positive attitude, and in his loving kindness to all of us. We will all be judged on how we loved other people. Uncle Vick has passed that test with flying colors. May we all be granted peace and strength and may we be comforted by the wonderful memories of this fine man.

There was a sweetness about Uncle Vick that was very special. I remember him when he was a teenager, a young father and husband, and a grandfather. Always the same, kind, gentle and making everybody around him feel special. Your loss is great.
Love to you all,
Shirley Byrum Olmstead

Vick,
I can hardly remember a time in my life that you weren't there. I can't imagine this life without you in it. I will never forget making you egg sandwiches for lunch when I was 16. I had never made eggs in my life and I know they couldn't have been very good but you always ate them and said "you did good daughter." You always treated me as your own daughter and you will never know how much that meant to me. I will cherish being your daughter and sharing a part of your life...
