I was his "Seeing Eye" navigator in RB-66's when he was commander of TARC, Tactical Air Recon Center at Shaw AFB, SC in 1965. He was one of the best pilots that I ever flew with in the RB-66. I was lucky enough to run into him again in 1969 at Phan Rang AB, Vietnam. I was an F-100 pilot there and we got to exchange memories of Shaw for a few minutes. He had a wonderful and full life.

My condolences to you, Norma, you cared for Victor during his lengthy illness with such love and grace. My late husband and I enjoyed many lovely times in your home where you both were the greatest hosts. We enjoyed your introducing us to the dance club Los Paisanos where you were outstanding dancers, and I was lucky to have a dance with Victor at every party.
