To the Cain Family:

Vic will be greatly missed by one and all. It has been an honor to call him a friend and mentor for the last 30+ years. His thoughtfulness, guidance and friendship will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Square dancing won't be the same without him.

I love you so much, Dad. You were a great man and a wonderful father. By your good life and reputation I've been given respect and trust by merely the mention of being your daughter. Your integrity, generousity, and love of humanity have shaped my life and made me who I am. I can't think of a better gift of love than that. I love you forever. Please kiss Mom for me.

Vic & Erdice were very special friends and we were blessed to have known them and served on committes for the Square Dance Festivals with them. God bless them and their family as well as Pat & her family.

I appreciated the lovely daughter, Margery, that I had the distinct privilege of having in 8th grade at Lincoln School. Margery was evidence of a stable and loving home. The Lord bless you Margery and your family as you celebrate your father's life and await being rejoined with Him and the Lord when He calls you home.

Vic Cain was a very kind-hearted and quick witted man that always seemed to sport a smile on his face for what seemed to be every occasion. I was blessed to have known him through the Moose and his kids. Eventually I got to know him again in recent years through my husband's association with Vic and Pat.

We will always remember the great man that he was and will miss him dearly.

I enjoyed the humor that Vic always expressed. He was fun and an entertaining person. He will be sorely missed.

I have several memories of Vic...one was when he made fish head soup just because we were coming to visit with the eyes and everything. Another is when we went to Hawaii. He had to make breakfast for us, omelets with everything but the kitchen sink for fillings. I remember midnight calls to Minnesota saying he was stuck in the flats and could Dad come for a tow. God Bless him.
