Not sure what to say?

Just a few observations on Father Victor.

You can always tell how much of a mark someone left in your life by your reaction when you hear that they are no longer with us. To be honest after Father Victor left Dallas in 2005 I did not hear much from him. Today when I heard of his passing, I heard from him loud and clear based on how I felt inside. He was a great priest and I remember seeing him constantly in pain but never wavering in his dedication to the church or its people. He...

My family and I were shocked and greatly saddened when we learned at Mass today in Dallas that Father Victor had passed away. While he was at St.Jude's Chapel in Dallas I was honored to assist at Mass for him. He was a wonderful priest, gave great sermons and a true friend. He gave my dad last rites in our home, we thought of him as our family priest. We look forward to seeing him again in paradise, God willing. God bless you Father Vic, requiescat in pace.

Victor was a Bless man, who I am happy to say was one of my very best of friends. We work long and hard together at The Chapel of St Jude, in Dallas. Where I was able to meet and become friends with many of the Dominican Brothers. I will miss him greatly. Peace, Light and Hope to you my friend as you enter into your greater Glory.
Joe de Poo, Dallas, TX

My condolences to the family...I really liked father Victor...Thank God there is no more pain. Elizabeth Durkes, Ponchatoula La.

Victor was a good friend. We shared many laughs together and I will always remember his gift for wanting to have a good time. He had a great love for his Dominican Charism. Victor had a kind soul. Rest in peace my friend. I will miss you. Vaya con Dios!

Victor, how the memories of Canada come back to me now....those chipmunks stealing nuts from you pockets...the coffee at Savada's... the kind word that kept me going... now there is no more pain for you.... rest in peace dear friend. Fr Gerard Dublin Ireland

Fr. Celio, was a wonderful person and a better Priest. I admired him and considered him one of the best priests I had known. It is a great loss. My condolences to those who will miss him. May he rest in peace. Nina Garcia, (Kenner, La.)

Fr Victor,
Although your services at St Joseph's Church in Ponchatoula was brief, you touched us all with your passion and love for Christ. Your homilies inspired us and gave us knowlegde of how to explain our Catholic faith to others who did not understand.
I'm glad you touched my life and that of my childrens'.

My prayers go out to you and your family.
