So sorry to hear of Vito's passing.....Have many fond memories of him back in the '60's when we all lived on Swenson Drive in Wappingers Falls......one memory was when he was Santa Claus and rode around the neighborhood on the fire truck. How the kids loved him!
My condolences to all of you and may your many memories help to sustain you in the days ahead....

"Vito" Wow where do I began, January 14, 1980 I met you after getting voted into East End Engine Company #2 of the New Hamburg Fire District. From that day on you and Barbara treated me as just another son. I have a lot of fond and proud memories of you. You taught me how to drive a 5 Speed transmission Fire Truck in 1982. I worked with Joe cutting lawns for you (Sanford & Son) lawn care business. You and my sister Nettie became Best of Friends just your son Joe & I are now. Thank you Vito...
