With deepest sympathy to the family Marilyn & Marcellous I've been Blessed to know Sammy he always had a smile & good advice. He cut hair but he love to care for the lawn/flowers your yard was right out of Good Housekeeping he took pride it too.I was Blessed that he shared some lawn care with me I will never forget. I know he's cuttin hair at the Pearly Gates with that smile. May God continue to watch over Marilyn, Marcellous & rest of the Doucet family. You'll be forever in our...

My condolence to the Doucet family on the lost of a brother, father, husband and friend; who's quiet nature had the unmutable ability to make everyone feel safe in his presence and to know their name was safe in his mouth. Few humans have this trait, Sammy expressed kindness with natural ease and grace. Sammy, I love the way you made me and others feel when we were in your presence. The compassionate grace of Jesus was evident in Sammy. Thank you Sammy for making the world a better place.

May the peace of God which passeth all understanding rest, rule and abide with you Marilyn, your son and the entire Doucet family. We loved Sammy and will miss that "huge bush" that he wore so very well. He maintained my daddy and my sister Vonnie's hair for years. I know this was an awesome homecoming!

Peace be with you Sammy and thanks for all you did for the Anchorage community! I know growing up in Anchorage in the 70's, you cut my Dad's (Lloyd Raymond), & brothers (Keith, Danny and Paul) hair! My sister Robin and I would go to Ms. Kinney's around the corner and bruhs would be with you! I will never forget you and the encouragement! Creole strong and peace be with your entire family!

Sending prayers to the family. He was truly an inspiration to all in the Anchorage community. Sammy was a role model of what your life could be..

My prayers is with Doucet Family. Really going to miss my mentor and friend. Once again thank you for keeping it real. You always set the example with commitment to excellence. Forever standing on your shoulders. May God continue to watch over Marilyn, your Son and the Doucet Family.

So sorry for your lost my heart an prayers are with the Doucet family. Rest In Paradise Sammy. Job well done

Marilyn & Family, all of us who loved Sammy are blessed to have shared times, memories, and joys with him. They keep us close to him even now. We pray for God's strength and comfort for you at this time of bereavement. Please know how much Sammy meant to so many people, and we are certainly among them.

I was deeply saddened to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you. I remember Sammy as someone who always smiled and had a great laugh when I came into his shop.
