Grandpa was the most pleasant man to be with because of his comical nature around me. I remember him and I sitting in his foyer drinking orange juice and watching the Christmas Celebration event and talking about political views, even though I was only Eight. I miss you Grandfather. I really do.

Rediban mi mas sentido pesame. I am so sorry to learn of Senor Effler's passing--I was his student in HS, his long term sub when he had the heart surgery in '85, and fond devotee during my own career teaching Spanish. He's a legend for those of us who enjoyed him in Spanish class at MHS. All my best to his family who will surely miss him, Susan Saum Chaves, Class of '70
