Not sure what to say?

Always in my heart....sleep in peace

Vic Ferris, my sister Joan and I started life in Ventura on Foothill Rd and at Mound Elementary School. We continued though Anacapa Jr High and Buena High school. He was a great friend and I admired his swimming and general atheletic ability. I took swimming lessons at his pool from his father with little success but I had fun. I am currently a Research Professor at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks, Alaska. All my best wishes to his family. Sincerely, Paul A. Bernhardt

Victor accepted me for who I was and for what I was to him and to others this. I appreciate it. Long lives the memory of my friend. Rev.Charles Buster Davis.

My condolences to the Ferris Family . . . .

Vic was a wonderful human being, a great friend, a witted personality who always knew how to have fun! He was a very active and outgoing personality, a surfer and waterman as I remember clearly during the year we roomed together at San Diego State College Victor, became a very close friend of the Hoholik Family, including my brother, Bruce, through whom I met him, and our parents' always welcomed his humorous, nonchalant 'Eastwood' style,...

To the Ferris family, please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Vic was a special and good friend. We first met in Mr. King's photography class during our senior year at Buena H.S... In the '67 Buena yearbook, there is a photo of Dan Adams and me clowning with the crossing-guard... Vic was the photographer.
While attending Ventura College, Vic and I became better friends and surfing buddies. We would frequently meet up at the beach after classes to catch the afternoon/evening...

Rest In Peace dear soul

Vic
You will always be the light in my heart
Your spirit on this earth will be missed
Your spirit in the heavens is forever
See you again
Much love to your family. The most wonderful family

Dear Ferris family,

I will always remember Vic for his kindness and sense of fun while teaching me to swim at Ferris Swim Academy, from the time I was two until I was six. He always blew bubbles on my tummy and cheered me on during the penny dives.-- what 2-3 year-old wouldn't love that? He (and your dad) will always be in my heart. Condolences to you all.

I play football with Vic at Buena high school. We
graduated in 1967 together , he was a great team mate and high school friend. Also I worked as a coach and teacher in Ventura and knew his Dad as a VUSD friend. Your wonderful family is in our prayers. I have talk with other team mates that regard your dad with high esteem, as I do. Vic was easy- go'in and made everybody feel loved. May God comfort you, and may all our good time memories keep us together until we are reunited
in Christ...
