I was fortunate enough to meet Vic as a teenager, and he had a profound effect on my life. I was a country-loving kid who had always lived in the city. Vic taught me how to escape that, and with his guidance, I bought five acres of forest and stream near Colton at the age of 19 and move to the woods. Eventually I parlayed that into 48 acres in Corbett where my wife and I have lived and raised our family for the last 28 years. If not for Vic, I'd still be stuck in the city.
