Victor J. FoxAug. 29, 1948 - Sept. 12, 2020 Vic was shopping at Costco not long before he died. No one who knew Vic would be surprised. Buying tulip bulbs, among other things, he said we were going to have to plant them; you always have to be planting for the future. On Sept. 12, 2020, Victor J....

Not sure what to say?

Victor was once upon a time my landlord and always my friend. He offered affordable housing to during a pivotal time in my life and for that along with his wonderful friendship especially during difficult times he will live on in my heart forever! RIP- I hope to drive by our old homes and see the flowers & trees that were planted there when we roamed there at 15th & Fremont together.

I miss you Vic. You will always be one of my very favorite people. I miss our conversations about plants, food, politics and people. I miss hearing about the latest deal you found at Costco. I miss trying a new beer or chocolate in your backyard. You were generous, kind and fun to be with. I feel very lucky to have known you and for all the time we had together. Thank you for being my friend. With love and admiration. Annick

I did not know Vic, but I wish I did. His brother Roy is a dear friend, and through Roy I attended a very special online celebration, months before Vic passed, which Vic attended along with more than 50 friends from around the world. I was so impressed with his poise, charm, wit and sincerity. I was equally impressed with how much he was loved, respected and adored by all those who were there. So many wonderful, touching and endearing stories were shared by so many. It was a tribute...

Victor created the insurance based HIV drug assistance program here in Oregon that has now been replicated across the nation. Many lives were saved by access to drugs through the program he created. So glad to see this wonderful tribute to my colleague.

I lived next to Victor for a time and he was always kind to me. I would always present him with pieces of pie I made that he loved. He will be missed.

We were in the class of 1966 together at Roseburg High School, and Vic was part of our group. He was smart, kind and had a great sense of humor. Vic obviously made his part of the world a better place and I think that might be the best any of us can aspire to. I am sorry to hear of his passing. I'm sure he will be missed by everyone who was part of his circle of family and friends. I am sorry for your loss.

Victor was a very loving, caring friend with a wonderful sense of humor.
I was lucky to have him in my life.
