I had the pleasure of growing up with Vic, he on Cain St and I lived on Harrison Ave. We had such great memories of Vic and I playing baseball, Vic pitched I caught. Vic was a great football player, he was a tackle I was an end. Vic was a great athlete, but more importantly, a really great person. I will miss you. Rest in peace my friend.

My heartfelt condolences to the Helin family. Vic ("Heels") was my best friend in high school. So many fond memories. From hanging out at the "shack" on Cane St. To his helping my dad in building a house. Can't list the memories, too many. Simply put.....a great guy.

I always looked forward to visiting with Vic during my 16 years with the Little League having him review and approved the All-Star rosters and affidavits. Such a pleasure to listen to his great stories. I know he gave so much to the Little League and I am thankful that I had the pleasure to know him. May he rest in peace.
