Not sure what to say?

I worked for Vic Horgan in the 70's as a young man at Portland Fish Company. He mentored me in a kind and compassionate way. He was a positive roll model who taught me about integrity and honesty. I remember him with great respect.

I had the opporturnity to work with Vic over the last several years and even though I never met him in person I looked forward to our phone conversations. He was very insightful and when we we through talking business he always asked how I was doing personally. Wonderful man, I will miss his phone calls. Condolences to his wife Mary Lee and the rest of his family.

Vic Horgan was a WWII submariner and belonged to the Seattle Chapter of Submarine Veterans. A post WW II submariner myself, I came to know and admire Vic as a person and a subvet.

I wish you fair winds and following seas, shipmate, on your final patrol.

I'll not forget you.

Condolences to the family of Victor W. Horgan on behalf of myself; my late parents: Frank B. Kistner Jr. (Paragon Packing Co. - Astoria, OR and Hoquiam, WA and Westpoint Oyster Co. - Aberdeen, WA) and Meta Henningsen Kistner. Frank B. Kistner III, Florence, OR.
