Victor Kotowitz

We knew Victor during his assisted living time. He was always a pleasure to be around. Quick with a joke to lighten the mood. He was one of those people who made everyone feel good just to be around him. Many happy memories we have shared. May he continue to rest in peace

My heartfelt sympathy to Ida, Helene, Bobby, Debbie & Evey and their families. Vic and I became friends 56 years ago in the 5th grade at Eli Whitney. As we grew up, we shared a lot of experiences in Boy Scouts, USY, Bunnell High and as our families developed. Vic was a hoot to be with, always ready with a joke or a quip. Our sincerest condolences to the family and loved ones of Victor. My wife and I had the pleasure of knowing Victor these past 2 years. He always made you laugh. When I saw Victor his first words were "how are you doing?", "any luck on the job search?" He though of other people first and that's the thing we will remember about him. How much he cared about other people.

Evie and Debbie, Im so sorry to hear of your fathers passing. I am happy he got to know your husbands and your children and they got to know him. I now know he is out of pain and is rejoined with your mother and now they both are together. Knowing that makes me happy for them. I just want you to know I am proud to have known both your parents and I know they both live very strong in your hearts. I know you are temporarily separated by them in this physical life, but you will always be joined...

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Victor. He was a wonderful man with a heart of gold. I'll never forget the love and support he gave when my father was terminally ill as well as how after my father's passing he so generously assumed the "grandfather" role during my son's Bar Mitzvah. He was a "gentleman" in the truest sense of the word and will be sorely missed by myself as well as my family.
