Victor Hugh “Vic” Leonard, 74, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II and Korea, and a Chicago Park District Boxing Coach, has died. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, October 26, 2000, 3-9 p.m., at Coglianese Funeral Home, 7508 South County Line Road (One block south of I-55/Stevenson), Burr Ridge, Illinois. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, October 27, 10 a.m., from the funeral home to Our Lady of the Woods Church, with Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, 1140 West Jackson Boulevard, Chicago, IL 60607 or Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica, 3121 West Jackson Boulevard, Chicago, IL 60612.
