Victor A. Nelson, age 91, of Alma, Michigan died Saturday, December 27, 2003 at the Masonic Pathways of Alma, Michigan. He was born April 23, 1912 in Aberdeen, South Dakota, the son of Alfred and Emma (Knight) Nelson.

Victor married Ruby I. Losey on November 2, 1932. She preceded him in death on February 5, 2001. He resided most of his life in the Alma area. Victor was the Lumberyard Manager in Middleton, Lakeview, and Mt. Pleasant for Cashway Lumber. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Eastern Star.

Victor is survived by his children, Donna and James Milmine of Burch Run, Michigan and Dale and Brenda Nelson of Chippewa Lake, Michigan; two grandchildren, Melanie Milmine and Bob Milmine; and three great grandchildren.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruby; four sisters, Neva Hudson, Hyacinth Nienhuis, Vivian Batchelder and Mina Vlug.

A gathering of friends and family was held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2003 at the Masonic Pathways Employees Cafeteria in Alma, Michigan.
