Dr. Nix was one of the finest men I ever knew. He was one of my college professes back in the day. I looked up to him as a mentor, but I was more fortunate to call him my friend. He was a WW2 veteran with a mind as sharp as a tack, and had amazing life stories he shared. Whenever I traveled back to Georgia I always tried to see him. I was hoping to see him again in September.

Most importantly, Dr. Nix was a fine Christian man. He was humble, kind and led by example. ...
