Not sure what to say?

Vic was truly one of the nicest person's you'll ever meet. And an immensely wise man as well. My condolences to the Opalski family.

We too remember the good ole days of the burg dairy. Those days will forever be special and the Burg Dairy ice cream was like none other. We loved his cookies too as he gave them out at St Greg's after mass. Our condolences, Rosanne and Will Fairbanks

Dear friends and family of Victor Opalski:
I was heartbroken to learn of Victor's passing. Although we never met face to face,he has been my dear friend for two decades at least, sending me wonderfully informed letters about my columns, and adding interesting information on so many subjects. He also wrote so very warmly about his beloved family and was genuinely interested in mine. I have saved and will save many of those letters. Janice & Phil & Family,

We are so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Gabe Santitore & Family

Aunt Doris, Aunt Clare, Doug & Phil,
I always enjoyed any event where I knew I'd see Uncle Vic! He always made me smile. He used to leave bags of his cookies in our mailbox on Duffield Drive - which was great when we realized what they were since they came unannounced in unmarked brown paper bags! His zest for life is an inspiration. With heartfelt sympathy..
Love,
Sharon (Allen) Matthias

Opalski Family:

Our deepest sympathy. My husband Joe Festa worked at Old Borough Savings & Loan and your Dad was on the Board of Directors. We knew your Dad and Mom very well. We would take our children to get ice cream and he would make such a fuss over them. Sorry for your loss.
Joe and Donna Festa, Langhorne, PA

Fond memories of Mr Opalski. Working in the dairy was my very first job. There was about five of us guys that worked there. Cookie, Sabo, Joe, Ritchie and myself.
One thing I regret is not learning more from Vic when making ice cream.
My sympathies to the family

Janice and Phil, I am so very sorry for your loss of Vic(tor). I enjoyed seeing him whenever I visited my Aunt and Uncle at Ann's Choice, and also enjoyed the poems he gave me. Vic was a sweet gentleman and will be missed by all. Peace Be With You. Sincerely Carol

Doug & Phil, your Dad was one of the special people that made our area of Trenton so great. To me he was more like a relative than a neighbor. Finally there'll be banana splits in Heaven. Mike Zola
