Coach Vic, an excellent teacher and coach but an even better man. Thanks for all the inspiration you gave to me growing up. RIP. You'll be missed......

Vic was a great guy, a wonderful teacher and coach. Ill never forget going out for track my senior year, 64-65. Ive always been more of a theater person/musician than an athlete. Rather than discouraging my shot-putting ability, he encouraged me to go out for the senior play. That always makes me smile. Rather than discourage, he encouraged me in a better direction. Thanks, Vic - for your teaching, your coaching, and your sage behavior. R.I.P. - ya done good. Sincerely, Dr. Warren...

I enjoyed you as a teacher and a coach, Vic. Being more of a theater person than an athlete, I will never forget you, rather than saying I was a sub-par shot putter, encouraging me to go out for the play in my senior year rather than the track team. That was 1964-65 - I always smile about that, well that, and other things. R.I.P., my fine teacher/friend. You were among the best. Sincerely, Dr. Warren Fremling, DHS class of '65.
