Not sure what to say?

I still think of Vic when I say my gratitude prayers, which always include a prayer for his eternal happiness in the Lord’s presence. I can still picture him in his corner office holding team meetings. We all loved him and his enthusiastic flow of creative ideas. He loved us back as a proud mentor responsible for fostering careers of many future leaders. Vic continues to warm my heart when I recall those lovely days. Prayers also for his wife Nancy and daughter Mary...such a lovely family.

Thinking back over 35 years ago, I continue to have fond thoughts about my time working with Vic. He was a true professional and a pleasure and honor to know.

Vic was my mentor as I came out of the Harris Trust training program in 1979. I've lived with his insights and inspirations ever since as my finance career has developed. At the first Investor conference I attended with him he gave me a class that to this day sits on my desk that reads " Thou shalt not invade thy principal". I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Our lives are better for having known him.

Vic Sidhu will live on in the fondest memories of all who worked with him during Harris Bank days. He was a dynamic industry visionary who cared deeply for his team and took personal responsibility for our growth and development. My deepest condolences to his lovely family.

Dearest Nancy,

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the passing of our beloved Victor. My love and prayer is with you.
Much Love,

I am so sorry for your loss. May the Most High God comfort you as you mourn the loss of your loved one. (Psalm 83:18)

I worked with Vic for five years at Harris and never knew a nicer or more competent colleague. This is sad news. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
