Read MoreSkipper was my dance teacher when I was 8 or 9 years old, and she let me "help" look after Dawn-Dawn when Vic was working on a project around the house. He was the kindest, sweetest man in the neighborhood, and handsome too. I will always remember him fondly.

I was just with my mom, Yvonne Hayes at the 100th anniversary of the Hamilton Chapter of Izaak Walton League, when we began talking about Vic. I enjoyed chatting with Vic at the Haunted Hayride and other functions. I was reminded he taught me how to catch a fish with my bare hands, a skill I have not used since. He was a charmer and will be missed.

A lot of great memories, him teaching our daughter to catch trout with her hand, traveling to IWLA conventions, him selling Dan a tin for $5.00 with a Beretta in it, Dan saying I can´t take it and Vic´s reply, you brought it. Treasured memories of a great friend.
