Not sure what to say?

I want to express my heart felt sympathy over Vic's passing. I first met Vic when I interviewed for my first legal job as a law clerk, while still in law school. I remember how he laughed when I excitedly accepted the position on the phone, despite my best efforts to remain calm. Not only did he give me a chance, but he went to bat for me on numerous occiasions..most of which I probably don't even know about!
Most importantly, he told me he believed in me, during a time when I wasn't sure...

Martha, Heather and Ryan
I was shocked when I was called on Monday and informed of Vic's passing and I am sure you understand why. I was also honored by your request that I stay at your home during this trying week. Please know that there was no time in my life, much like yours, that did not have Vic in it. He was very important to me in those formative years and was also counsellor to me during some troubling times. I appreciate his standing with me at my wedding as Best Man and I...

I am extremely saddened by the news of Vic's passing. He was a mentor to me almost 30 years ago when I first began to contemplate law school. Once I began to practice, he was the ultimate professional in cases that we had together. He will be missed.

Martha and family,
Our sincerest sympathy for the loss of your beloved husband, father and grandfather. We will hold in our hearts the many wonderful memories of Christmas Day celebrations many years ago. How time changes so many good things. Again we are so sorry for your loss, he was a wonderful caring man.

Please know that we share your sorrow in losing Vic. We recently happily remembered the study group's "Moving Team" when we dusted off best Law School memories.

Please accept my condolences. The world will miss Victor J. Sullivan. I worked with Vic in the early nineties at The Home Insurance Company and still admire his work today. He was so professional, always prepared and generous in sharing his knowledge and advice. Your family was truly blessed by such a kind man. I am a better person for having known him. He was indeed a fine lawyer and a gentleman.

Dear Martha- It seems long only a short time ago that I helped you get your first apartment ready for Victor's return from the service. How happy and excited you were! Please accept my deepest sympathy. I am saddened at your loss.

Words cannot express the depth of the shock and the sorrow I felt when I learned of the death of my beloved brother, Vic. He was a wonderful, loving man and I shall miss him terribly. My heartfelt, deepest sympathy goes out to my sister-in law, Martha, his children Heather and Ryan, and his grandchildren.

What a shock to learn of Vic's death. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy for your loss. You are in our thoughts & prayers.
